We understand that college isn't for every student. As such, we are piloting a program to work with graduating seniors, who are looking to get into a trade, whether it be HVAC, plumbing, auto repair, or any other trade. In the program, students would be paired with a mentor, at a local business in the trade they are interested in, likely in Sophomore/Junior year. The student would work with the company, and the Westerville Scholarship Foundation would provide funding for materials, testing, or any formal procedural in the process of becoming certified in the trade before they leave high school! We're very excited about this opportunity to help ALL students find a career after high school.
