Gene Hollins

Mr. Hollins has practiced municipal law for over 30 years.  He was a former partner in the Columbus office of the AmLaw 200 law firm Frost Brown Todd LLC prior to joining Obetz as in-house Director of Law in 2020.  He previously served as the Law Director/Solicitor for Powell, Canal Winchester and Minerva Park, and provided special counsel services for a number of Ohio local government entities, including Westerville, Pickaway County and several special purpose economic development entities.  He advised these clients on a wide range of issues including: competitive bidding and infrastructure contract issues and disputes; economic development incentive negotiation and drafting of agreements and formation of abatement areas and tax increment financing zones; zoning and land use issues; labor and employment matters; administrative appeals; drafting and advice related to proposed legislation; intergovernmental relationships; utility issues; adherence to applicable charter, statutory and constitutional provisions; and litigation and governmental immunity matters.

Sarah Hysell serves the community as a City of Westerville employee in the Information Systems department, supporting and training staff with technology needs. Sarah has studied and practiced education since the beginning of her career as an early childhood educator and is currently pursuing a Master's in Instructional Design and Technology. She joined the foundation's scholarship review efforts in 2018 and was immediately drawn to the passion of the group to help students and support future leaders. She currently holds the Vice Chair position for the board.

Lindsey Hance was born and raised in Westerville.  After graduating with her college degree, she worked at OhioHealth in Talent Management for Grant Medical Center.  After eight years, Lindsey joined her family's business, Robin Enterprises in Westerville, which has been in the City for more than 53 years.  Lindsey is an account manager at Robin.  Lindsey is looking forward to being able to give back to a community which has meant so much to her and her family by joining the Westerville Scholarship Foundation.
