As an administrator for Columbus State Community College, Jeff Akers believes that education is essential for a growing economy and that it is the great equalizer for all persons.  Jeff joined the board after earning the Lifelong Learning Scholarship while in pursuit of his PhD, and hopes that other community members can benefit from similar scholarships.  Jeff serves the Westerville Scholarship Foundation as Vice-Chair and Chair of the High School Scholarship Review Committee.
